THIS MULTI-PURPOSE DEVICE COMBINES THE FUNCTIONS OF A TICKET PROCESSOR, ONBOARD COMPUTER, PASSENGER´S TERMINAL AND DATA TRANSFER DEVICE. FARE PAYMENT CAN BE MADE BOTH BY CONTACTLESS CARDS AND IN CASH. HIGH PERFORMANCE ELECTRONICS TOGETHER WITH COMFORTABLE DISPLAY CAN HANDLE EVEN THE MOST SOPHISICATED INTEGRATED TRANSPORT SYSTEMS. THE SYNERGY COMPACT REPRESENTS A SMART SOLUTION FOR CITY AND INTERCITY TRANSPORT.

• Sturdy and ergonomically shaped plastic case resistant against spilled liquids.
• The efficient communication is provided by two colour displays with resolution of 320 × 240 pixels, equipped with automated brightness adjustment in reaction to the surrounding light. The passengers display is optional.
• The device is controlled by back lit, water resistant silicon keyboard with 52 keys providing mechanical feedback for exact manipulation. Of these keys, 20 are used as softkeys. If required, the computer can be equipped with a touchscreen.
• Under the lockable case, there is a fast thermal printer with cutter, with a printing speed of 150 mm/s.
• The contactless card reader can be placed on the top or on the side, depending on customers’ needs.
• High performance with prompt reaction is provided by two 32 bit processors working with Linux OS. Intel X-scale as a central processor and ARM9 for the passenger’s terminal.
• A player of MP3 and other formats of audio files in addition to a powerful amplifier with three separated channels enable internal and external high-quality sound distribution as well as driver’s listening-in.
• The lockable holder with cashbox enables fast, easy, safe and firm mounting.
• Modular design enables further functionality development. For example data transfer module GSM/GPRS , WiFi, RF, GPS module for satellite vehicle location etc.

This universal compact device combines both a device for ticketing and a card validator. During its development, special attention was focused on developing a product that was compact, practical, and easy to maintain. Synergy Light provides an economical solution for smaller vehicles, where payments are made with driver assistance.

• Compact size also allows installation in smaller vehicles such as minibuses or TAXI vehicles without obstructing the driver.
• Adjustable holder allows installation without the need of changes in the dashboard. This device can be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled and can be adjusted for specific operational requirements.
• Optional external reader offers card payment from the passenger´s seat without the need to attach the card at the driver.
• All important information is clearly displayed on a large, coloured display which is automatically regulated by ambient light intensity.
• The terminal can be easily operated single handed . Ergonomically placed mechanical buttons can be operated consistently and without increased driver´s attention and visual contact. The driver can fully concentrate on traffic .
• Built-in thermal printer ensures fast and high-quality graphic prints.
• Thanks to the efficient use of the device´s internal space, this device holds an extra-large paper roll. This allows the printing of thousands of tickets without the need to exchange rolls.
• Recording and processing of data on function of this device, driver´s work and vehicle´s operation can provide full statistics in a form of user defined reports to the operator.
• Device is able to use GPS or GLONASS system for localization.

Control unit

• Based on a single-board computer with Intel X-Scale processor, providing Linux or Win CE operating systems.
• The unit can be placed anywhere near the driver, usually under the dash-board.
• MP3 audio player and powerful amplifier with three separated channels enable internal and external high-quality sound distribution as well as driver’s listening-in.
• Sophisticated software equipment offers easy preparation and processing of operational data to control fare collection, information systems and other device (e.g. GPS, GPRS, W-LAN, …)

Passenger’s terminal

• The computer can be extended by a passenger’s terminal for ticket issue with fast thermal printer, graphical display and contactless card reader.
• Fast mounting holder provides any placement faced to a passenger.

Other accessories and additional devices can be offered to meet the customers individual requirements.

THE MIKROELEKTRONIKA’S USV 24C IS A HIGHLY VERSATILE AND ROBUST ELECTRONIC TICKETING MACHINE WITH AN INBUILT CONTACTLESS SMARTCARD READER. ITS PRINCIPAL USE IS DESIGNED AS AN ONBOARD TICKETING SYSTEM OR COMPUTER, generally called bus terminal.
