Payment possibilities and fare documents

Fares can be settled in many ways. Most suitable for regular passengers are contactless chip cards, used as time coupons and “electronic purses” (stored value). Even in the case of electronic payment, a passenger can get a paper receipt. Occasional passengers use paper tickets bought on board, at POS or stationary vending machines. Currently provided cards are Mifare Standard and Mifare DESFire. Cards and tickets can be bought for cash or by bank card.
